Our satellite technology support has been provided to both satellite manufacturers and satellite operators. Our work with satellite manufacturers has been to assist with the design, manufacture and test of satellites, while for satellite operators we have assisted with the procurement, launch, in-orbit test (IOT), and operation of satellites. Where frequency coordination negotiations are required, we can also offer appropriate support.

We offer a broad range of expertise, covering all areas of modern satellite technology, and project management, and have experience of payloads operating in L, C, X, Ku, and Ka-bands. We can provide a complete satellite procurement team, or can offer individual experts to work within a client’s project team. Where additional training is required, we can provide courses tailored to our client’s needs, and will also offer on-the-job training to collocated client staff.

Aetheric Engineering provides support and assistance during all phases of the design, procurement, commissioning and operation of satellites, including satellite control centres, in-orbit test systems and the data and voice networks linking those centres and systems. In addition, our consultants have worked with both spin stabilised and 3-axis stabilised satellite designs, from several manufacturers.

Our consultants have supported satellite operations from the formation of the client’s operations team and implementation of the facility, through certification of operators and facility commissioning, to ongoing satellite operations.

The company is located close to major UK satellite manufacturing sites. The remaining European and US manufacturers are all within easy reach. The creation and support of field offices, for the monitoring of the design, construction and testing of satellites is an established part of the company’s expertise.
